Parent Coaching

Whether you’re expecting a child, navigating the early days of parenthood, or well into the parenting journey, I' m here to help you build the tools and skills that make you feel confident, grounded, and aligned with your values - and with the kind of parent you want to be.

I can also serve as your accountability partner, walking alongside you with encouragement and care as you put those tools into practice.

Parent coaching is a structured way to address the different aspects of being a parent. Each program is tailored to your unique context and may include psychoeducation and care navigation when appropriate and helpful.

For parents raising kids with ADHD or autism, I'll help you support your child(ren) in a neuro-affirmative, informed way.

NB: for parents of children with ADHD, research shows that parent training and behavioral interventions are usually the most effective first steps. With that in mind, I'll coach you as a parent to offer guidance, perspective and practical tools that fit within your family's unique context. When it feels right and aligns with your care team, I can also support your child/teen directly in building socio-emotional skills - helping them better understand their functioning, use their strengths, and feel supported where they need it. For children and adolescents, individual therapy is less well established than parent or classroom-based interventions, but when indicated, I can help you connect with the right therapist.

I support parents of children and teens facing behavioral, emotional, social, mental health, or neurodevelopmental challenges.

I believe parents are not the problem, but an essential part of the solution. My role is to help you better understand your child, navigate care, access the right tools and resources, and (re)discover your strengths—so you can make changes that are effective, sustainable, and aligned with your values.

My approach is warm, practical, and rooted in science, experience, and compassion. I bring together my medical training, years of work with families, and my lived experience as a mom of three. I don’t offer quick fixes, but I do offer guidance, strategies, and hope - so that you never feel alone on this journey.

Care Navigation + Psychoeducation

I know how overwhelming and isolating it can feel to seek a diagnosis, make sense of it, and figure out what truly supportive care looks like for you or your child. What does this diagnosis actually mean? How does it impact daily life? What are the next steps?

There’s so much information out there, but not all of it is evidence-based or easy to understand.

I'm here to walk alongside you through this process. Whether you're already navigating a diagnosis or just beginning to wonder if an assessment might be helpful, I can support you in exploring your questions, clarifying your next steps, and connecting with the right resources.

The psychoeducation part means putting words on your experience and having understanding of your functioning in light of your specific situation.

Together, we’ll look at what a diagnosis entails - and what it doesn’t - what options, resources, and supports are available, and how to move forward in a way that works for you and your family. Whether it’s mapping out a care plan, accessing and understanding reliable information, contextualizing your experiences with education or simply creating space to talk through the full spectrum of details and reflect, I’ll help you connect the dots with both expertise and compassion.
